Luxury Lifestyle Award Winner project, the KHMER FARMHOUSE VILLA, stands as an exquisite example of contemporary luxury villa design gracefully nestled within the abundant crop fields of Cambodia. This distinct villa, positioned slightly apart from the city center, coexists seamlessly with the picturesque natural surroundings. It carefully preserves the existing trees and flora on the premises by integrating an existing pond into the landscape. The outcome is a stunning amalgamation of meticulous master planning and architectural design, providing not only opulent indoor living but also optimizing the use of the natural environment to elevate residents’ well-being and lifestyles.
About 70% of the villa’s master plan is allocated to landscaping, featuring expansive crop fields that fulfill daily life requirements. The deliberate inclusion of large trees offers shade, decreasing energy usage and fostering a delightful ambiance across the property. The pond serves as both an aesthetic enhancement and a heat-mitigating element for the living spaces. Additionally, incorporating solar panels on two of the glass house roofs within the rice fields leads to reduced electricity expenses, and most outdoor lighting is powered by solar panels, promoting sustainable energy use.
